Review of China EPower 2009
China EPower 2009 was successfully held on April 23-25, 2009 at Intex Shanghai. Focused on the theme “Energy saving, environmental protection, internationalization and specialization”, China EPower 2009 featured various activities for the visitors. The event was spread over 14,000sqm of exhibition space.

Showcase of Cutting-edge Technologies Despite the global economic woes, investment in the power industry by the Chinese government remains strong. Against this backdrop, China EPower 2009 featured 362 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. Among them, more than 40% were international enterprises or joint ventures. Twelve domestic visitor delegations from electrical engineering associations, electrical power associations and research institutions visited China EPower 2009. The largest delegation, with more than 70 members, was organised by Changzhou Electrical Power Association. Concurrent Conference and Technical Seminars More than 10 technical seminars and a conference were held alongside the show, bringing together international and local experts and market leaders to exchange innovation ideas and share research achievements. Power industry authorities and leaders were also invited to attend the forum, discussing on the topic “The Influence and Solutions of Financial Crisis on Electrical Apparatus Industry”, which helped promote the communication between the Chinese electrical equipment manufacturers and their global counterparts and improve their ability to grasp the trend of the industry. |
